The The Sanford Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 16-year-old girl. According to a post on the department’s Facebook page, Ellie Thompson was last seen leaving her home in Sanford on February 12th, at around 2:00 in the afternoon. She was wearing a fuzzy brown jacket, jeans, a purple hooded sweatshirt, and was carrying a bright orange backpack. Ellie is a white female, 5’1″ tall, weighing about 100 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. UPDATE – 02/14/19 Ms. Thompson was found safe. Read articles here and here.
56-year old Robert Kirkbride was last seen leaving his residence in Springfield, VT on February 1, 2019. He is believed to be operating his silver Nissan Frontier plate registration 297A445 UPDATE – Reportedly, Mr Kirkbride passed away on Feb 6.
A South Portland man, Carlos Ordonez was last seen on January 15, 2019 near the Old English Village in South Portland. UPDATE – Mr Ordonez’s body was found January 19 around 5pm near the banks of the Fore River according to this article.
Alicia Thibeau, a 15-year old, from Scarborough went missing from Scarborough High School on January 25, 2019. UPDATE – Ms. Thibeau was found safe Jan 27 according to this article in the PressHerald.
The Westbrook Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating 17-year old Bridget Kelley who was reported missing on 12/26/2018. She was last seen at her home the night of Christmas and was wearing a gray Nike sweat suit with black Ugg’s and carrying a aqua colored L.L. Bean backpack. The Houlton Police Department is looking for Stephen Jewell of Houlton who has not been heard from for over a year and half. They are concerened for his safety and welfare. He is described as slender build, brown hair and blue eyes, 5’11”, 170 lbs. Police are asking the public for help to find a 69-year-old man who has ALS and is primarily confined to a scooter. Ricky Bickerstaff of Newton, N.H. was last seen Monday morning, Dec. 17 in Newton. Police believe Bickerstaff may be driving his black 2017 Dodge Caravan SXT with N.H. disabled veteran plates 3672. UPDATE – 12/18/18 According to NewsCenterMaine, Mr Bickerstaff was found safe in Manchester, NH.
Robert Wetherbee, 76, left his home in Maine to travel to Connecticut on November 8, but never arrived. WMTV article and video. UPDATE: Foxborough, MA police found Mr. Wetherbee sleeping in his pickup.
Dennis Perrault left Saco on Friday, Oct. 26, to go hunting in the Allagash region of northern Maine. Perrault has a medical condition and only took enough medication for one week. On October 5, 2018, investigators found a body near where missing teacher was last seen, but they were not able to confirm identity. Officers won’t comment on the body that was found but did say the search for Kristin Westra, 47, is suspended with officers now focused on gathering evidence at the scene. BDN article.
